Hiding comments in confluence cloud and managing multiuser accounts

Good morning,

I work with a Confluence cloud account and I would like the comments on the pages not to be visible to the general public and all the users, just to administrators and editors. I have seen that there is an add-on to hide elements for the Server version and I was wondering how could we do the same in the Cloud app.

Apart from this, is there any way that a single account can be accessed by many users at the same time? That is to say, create an individual non-admin user that allows many people to see the pages in Confluence we have set for that account to see, without having admin privileges, but with the name username and password.

Looking forward to your answer.

Hi Clara,

There's a feature request to be able to do this in Confluence Cloud that I would recommend voting on and watching:

As for your login question, logins are only meant to be used by one user. Should the login session for a username be destroyed (i.e. logged out) then the same will occur for all other sessions for that user. I would recommend that you create a separate login for each user that needs to access Confluence.

To make things easy, you can give page and space permissions in Confluence to a specific group, and then all the users in that group can see the page. This would avoid you having to add the users to the permissions individually.

I hope that helps!

Kind regards,

Shannon

I was also looking for this feature, adding "view" permission to Comments should be #1 :)

Cheers,
