Home page setting not working

How can i change what the Confluence logo does on the left menu? I've set the homepage to a space called ICT, yet when I click the confluence logo it loads

#.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ICT/overview?mode=global

instead of

#.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ICT/overview

On the server version I was trialling when you clicked the Space name at the top it took you to the root of that space, now in cloud it shows all spaces? 

I just need a quick return to the root of the space button - I don't think it should be a separate manually added link, rather one of those two options: the confluence logo or the Space name.
