I want to make a consistent and semi static home screen for all users on confluence

Additionally, on "spaces" i can see various users, i dont want this. If i delete them, do i remove the work the have created or just their spaces?

Hi Lili, my name is Jacob and I'm a Confluence Cloud developer who has worked on some of these features. Let me try to help.

Spaces

First, the reason you see various users in Spaces is because these users have a "personal space". If you don't want users to have personal spaces, you can disable it by:

1. Go to Settings (click the gear icon in top right)
2. In the left sidebar, scroll down to and click on Global permissions
3. Update the settings to disable the "Personal space" permission

Note: You may also need to delete the existing personal spaces which have already been created for each user.

Home page

By default, Confluence Cloud comes with the Home page. If this doesn't suit your needs, you can also designate a space as the landing page for your site. To do this, you can:

1. Determine which space you would like your users to land on. They will be directed to the Space overview, so you can customize this page to fit your users' needs.
2. Go to Settings (click the gear icon in the top right)
3. In the left sidebar, scroll down to and click on Further configuration
4. Click Edit, then select your desired space in the "dashboard" dropdown menu
5. Press Save. After a few moments your changes should take effect.
