How can I add numbering that will update automatically when new pages are added. for example page tree with parget and subpage names prefixed with unique number as below
1. Invoice Details 1.1 Adjustments 1.1.1 Credit 1.1.2 Debit

Unfortunately you can't do that. You need to add page number on your page title by hand.
