How can I add stylesheets back into header when serving static content outside of confluence

Backstory

We product javadoc for our product and want to serve it to customers via confluence. We presently, import in into confluence as xml which doesn't quite work as well as we'd like. We are moving it outside of confluence but control access via confluence seraph (see extend confluence security).

Our current problem is that the javadoc can't load their stylesheets because their header is replaced with the one from confluence.

How can we get confluence to leave the header alone?

We can use AJS to inject the stylesheet info into the header. This allows the javadoc files to locate their stylesheets and render properly.
