How can I automatically transfer a new page property in parent page to children pages

Hi,
I want to add approval status as page property in our Confluence pages.
How can I create a condition where an existing child page/ grandchild page inherits the page property automatically.
Thanks,
Tami

Hi @Tami Dubi

I think you can achieve this by using Page Properties macro and Page Properties Report macro together, through which you can show information from one page to another page.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response, but the  Page Properties Report macro shows all the pages that include page property. I need a faster and more efficient way to insert page property macro in existing pages, whose parent's pages have the page property, so they will also include it.

thanks

Tami

Hi Tami, No, you need to enter the Labels you want to report on (this is the label added to pages containing the Page Properties macro) so you can limit the pages based on the labels (ie it will not show all the pages that include page properties macro but only the pages that have certain labels)

Hi,

I think I probably didn't explain myself clearly. I don't have a problem with  Page Properties Report macro, every page I added the page property and label appears.

However, I do have a problem manually adding the new page property to all the already existing children pages of the page I inserted the page property macro. Is there a way to insert automatically the page property macro to the children's existing pages?
