I have very long table with 2 columns:
Column A | Column B |
---|---|
Word 1 | Blahblah 1 |
Word 2 | Blahblah 2 |
Word 3 | Blahblah 3 |
Word 4 | Blahblah 4 |
I'd like to hide it and instead ask the user to type a word in a box to search for the matching row. If the user types Word 3
, then they'll see Blahblah 3
.
How can I do that in a wiki page in Confluence?
Hi
There is an app for that.

Hello @Franck Dernoncourt ,
If using our Table Filter (part of the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app), you could achieve the result you want with the following steps.
A. Wrap your table in Table Filter:
B. Add necessary filters:
C. Hide all rows of the table when filters are not used:
D. Protect your macro from changes by users in the page view mode:
As a result, the users will see the following when entering the page:
And entering the value from Column A in the filter panel they will see the value from Column B in the table:
Best regards,
Alexey
