How can I embed a link to an RSS feed into my space overview page?

Shorn Tolley October 4, 2017

I have a Confluence Cloud wiki space, it has pages and blog posts.

I can use the RSS Feed Builder to build an RSS Feed - and that works fine.

But I don't want my users to have to use the RSS Feed builder, and additionally online RSS readers that do auto-discovery of RSS feeds can't use the feed builder either.

What I want to do is take the link that the Feed builder created and embed it onto the overview page of my wiki.  Such that a user will be able to click on it/drag it to their RSS Reader/browser etc. (just like you can do on the result page of the feed builder).

NOTE: I am not trying to embed the content of the RSS feed into my page -I just want to publish the RSS feed link itself, so users can find and use it easily.

Additionally, I'm hoping that doing this will enable RSS feed discovery to work properly.

Example (I use Ino reader): If I copy the URL of my space into the Ino Reader application, it should be able to discover the RSS feed by analysing the page, and then the user is able to subscribe to the RSS feed from there.

Hi There,

I suggest you take a look at this KB on how to build an RSS Feed. Link: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/build-an-rss-feed/
