How can I know if any space in confluence is already existing even if I do not have permission?

Example: I know that my colleague from Engineering manages a space called Engineering Application but I do not have permission.

When I use the searching, confluence informs me that no matching found.

My question is why not "Engineering application" is found but permission is restricted?

Then, I can ask the owner for access.

Hey @Joaquín Núñez ,

You could see all existing spaces only if you're product (Confluence) admin.
Even if you're a product admin, you would still need to navigate to Settings > Security > Space permissions to view a full list of existing spaces. Meaning, that you will never be able to view a list of all the spaces via Space list/View all spaces option.

For end users (but also applies to admins), if someone sends you a direct link to a space or page within the space, you will be able to Request access to a space (or page).

Cheers,
Tobi

Hi @Joaquín Núñez

Probably all pages have been set with restrictions, even the main page of the space.

So you need to find someone who knows the space owner and ask them via mail or chat.
