How can I make alt text mandatory for images in confluence 5.5.6?

We have strict Accessibility rules, I need to be able to enforce Alt text for all images added and embedded on pages

Hi Jamie,

i'm not sure if I understand correctly your question. You want to enforce text for images in Confluence, I believe this is not possible at the moment. Would be possible to clarify a bit more this functionality so we can check if it would be possible or not?
