To Create a Confluence button to enable the Business to create a JIRA issue with selective fields for input and other fields hidden.
I am new to Jira Admin and YouTube might not able to help but still it will help me if anyone can make me understand it more. Really appreciate it. Thank you
Hello @Kimberly Almario ,
Thank you for your question.
Option-1
You can go to Confluence page edit it and then type /Create Jira Work Item.
It will open a pop-up window where you can select Project, Work type and few custom fields.
Option-2
You can create Work Item from the Confluence page as below.
1. Create a new page (no matter the template used);
2. Add some text to the page and publish it;
3. Highlight a word and select the option to create the Jira Issue;
4. The issue is created on Jira and the link will show on the page.

How about issue collector?

Read the Atlassian Documentation please see if that works. If not we can look for other ways.

Thank you for this, I will look on it, and actually this feature also need the issue to be able to hide or unhide the screen or issue option something like that. Is there a thing here that will help me do that?

Hi @Kimberly Almario ,
your challenge sounds like the perfect case for Viable Issues ( https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220378/viable-issues-create-better-issues-for-jira-in-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview ). With the app, you can include a "create Jira issue button" with pre-configured fields.
If you require additional insights or assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.
