How can I preview attachment such as .msg (e-mail) ? special file type in Confluence Data Center

Hi Folks,

I have many attachement in my Confluence page with different file types such as .docx, .pptx, .msg. I have some document here and there in the page but I am not able to preview .msg file type in confluence. for information version is Confluence Data Center 7.19.17.

getting below error : 

Does anybody knows how we could preview that type of file (.msg e-mail) ?

Thank you for your question.

.msg file types are not currently supported for file previews in Confluence Data Center.

Please see the public Jira ticket for this suggestion, CONFSERVER-36508. We regularly review the highest-ranking tickets as roadmap candidates so it would be great if you could add your vote to the ticket. I also came across another related suggestion to extend support for searching .msg files: CONFSERVER-33753.

Hi @Shree Jantre , I don't believe this is possible. I looked for a solution a couple of years back without success.
