How can I remove the Space link from the “Pick up where you left off” cards on the Home tab

Hi Community,

I’m on Confluence Cloud and using the default Home experience. Under

"Pick up where you left off", each item shows up as a square “card” with:

1. Page title (clicking opens the page)
2. Space name (clicking opens the space)

Problem
Users keep clicking the Space link by mistake and end up at the space root instead of the intended page, which is confusing and adds extra navigation steps.

Goal

• Hide or disable the Space link (and the space name text) so the card only links to the page.
• Keep the Page title link intact.

Questions

1. Is there an out-of-the-box way (admin setting, feature flag, etc.) to hide or disable the Space link on these cards?
2. If not, has anyone used a workaround—e.g., custom CSS via an add-on—that successfully removes the Space name/link without breaking future updates?
3. Does Atlassian have any roadmap item for giving admins control over what shows on Home-page cards?

Have you managed to find solution for this?

Currently, there's no native/out-of-the-box way to hide or disable space link on the mentioned cards.

Additionally, there's an open feature request for enabling custom CSS styling in Confluence cloud but there's also no support for this (natively) at the moment.

As for the roadmap, most of the items are tracked via JAC (one item is linked above). However, there's no feature request/suggestion for what you're looking for, but you could reach out to Atlassian Support and discuss it further with them and the support team can probably open a new feature request for it.
