The title says it all. I don't want to have to create the same template over and over. Is there a way that I can ask an account admin to make a template available for many spaces?
@Pardis Beikzadeh Confluence System Admins have rights to create Global Templates and Blueprints. You can share the page you want with them and they can then create a template that will be available in all Spaces.
Hope this helps!

So you have to set that at creation? Once you have created a template within a space, there's no way to make it global after the fact?

@Laurie Santin Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
It can be found under Settings -> Configuration -> Global templates and Blueprints.
You can access settings by clicking the cog on the top right of your confluence screen from any page.

That's still something you have to do when you first create the template. If you have already created a template in one space and then decide you need it in another space, it is not possible share as far as I am aware. Thankfully selecting all the content inside the template and pasting into the page of the new template actually works surprisingly well. Still a pain, but better than re-adding it all from scratch.

Yes, I am aware of that. Since we are using this as a “controlled document “ I now have to update and rev in 2 different places.
