How can I use the full width of the screen for text in the new user interface?

I noticed this change in the new user interface.

We use Confluence as our knowledge base and our users are on PCs (and not mobile devices) the majority of the time when they are working in Confluence.

Before the UI change, my content automatically used the full width of the screen as I worked.  Both text and tables.

In the new interface, everything appears to be "fixed width" by default, where the screen seems to be divided into rough vertical thirds.  All of my content is in the middle third, and I have empty white space on either side.  I can select to make my table wider, but not my text.  My text format seems to be locked into "only use the middle stripe of the screen"

Is there a way I can format my page to display content across the full width of the current screen?

Thanks!

That is the new editor you are seeing and my understanding is that right now you only see that if you create a page from the Meeting Notes template. Unfortunately there is no way to change it.
