I am trying to enable a team to use the Office Excel Macro for a centralised register for regular updating. Is there a way of seeing previous versions of the spreadsheet and who and when the updates were made?
Since the editing is in the Excel spreedsheet via the Macro the changes aren't showing in the Page History or Page Activity.

While the macro settings are tracked, there isn't a way to track the contents of excel
In server you can have plugin, and embedding the Google docs which tracks the changes in Google docs
You could consider migrating to cloud which embeds the Google docs (no need of plugin) in pages and the changes are tracked in Google docs.
