How can blogs inherit page permissions?

Currently, blogs don't inherit space permissions. Is there a plugin for Confluence that'll allow blogs to inherit page permissions? Or is there a plan for this feature in future versions of Confluence?

Hey Mark, 

Perhaps we could have some external add-on that would do the trick. However, as the Blog Posts will be working with the same permissions method from the pages, we are working to allow the permission to be inherit in the following request:
