I have set up a site using Confluence. I have invited others to join, but when they follow the links they are unable to join. Either they get lost in the set up or are told the server is not available. I am confused. I thought all I had to was send them a link via email and they could access the page. What are we doing wrong?
Hi Dave! Do you have screenshots of what your team members see when it fails?
A good workaround would be if first every one sets up an Atlassian ID at id.atlassian.com. When everyone has an Atlassian account you add them in your Confluces user management. At last have them try login to your Confluence via URL (<something>.atlassian.net/wiki).
Cheers
Sloan
Thanks Sloan Some had no problem getting onto the site, others seem to be getting all kinds of strange messages and then getting frustrated and giving up. Those of us that are there definitely feel that this can be a great tool for us. But some of those who are not, are so vital that without them we wont go ahead. I have suggested they sign up first and then try to login to our workspace.
Many thanks for getting back so quickly.
