How can we change connection time out?

Our confluence keeps spitting us with this annoying message. I have all possible permissions and I see a connection time out setting under General Configuration, but it doesn’t allow me to change it. How can we extend the time out? It also feels like it’s not working properly since sometimes it just shows it after few minutes of browsing.

Edit: After reading several topics I have a suspicion... we are connecting regularly through VPN to our office, could be that confluence is detecting us as the same machine and we are then overriding the session of each other?

Thanks!

Hi @Jorge Magan ,

If configured properly, VPN or proxy shouldn't be the problem. Most companies are using proxy or VPN to access Atlassian products without any problem. Check with your network team that your confluence pages are not cached on VPN or company proxy.
