How can you remove a blueprint from the create dialog?

I followed the instructions in the "Write a simple Confluence Blueprint plugin" but I made a mistake in the title that is displayed in the create dialog. So, I would like to remove the blueprint from the create dialog and re-add it.

(I tried changing the title in the plugin, and then running Fast Dev, but Fast Dev didn't recognize that as a change. So, it didn't update the create dialog. Since Fast Dev isn't picking up my change, I think the best alternative approach is to remove the blueprint all together and then re-add it. Plus, it would be nice to know how to remove a blueprint from that dialog for future reference.)

Thanks, in advance, for your help,

Stacia

I've become a lot more knowledgeable about creating blueprints since I posted this question. So I can now answer my own question.

To remove a blueprint from the create dialog, you need to uninstall the blueprint. Follow these steps to uninstall the blueprint:

1. Open the admin console.

2. Click Manage add-ons in the left navigation under the heading titled Atlassian Marketplace.

3. On the Manage add-ons page, expand the twistie arrow next to the name of your plugin (which is also the plugin you want to uninstall).

4. Click Uninstall.

5. Click Uninstall add-on when the Uninstall add-on? modal window opens.

Confluence will display the following message to let you know that your add-on has been uninstalled:

Notes:

I've stopped using the standalone Confluence instance and Fast Dev; instead I do all of my development/testing in a sandbox environment. So these instructions assume that you are on a live Confluence installation.

Also, if you get the uninstallation successful message, but still see your blueprint in the Create dialog window, check your browser settings and turn off caching. Then, log out of Confluence and close your browser. Then, open your browser and log in again. My browser was caching this information, so sometimes I'd still see the blueprint in the Create dialog. (Similarly when I created a fancier plugin that included a soy template, I wouldn't see my updates in the soy template until I closed my browser and opened it again.)

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Thought I should add some additional information. The notes section in the "Importing Templates" topic (found here https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Importing+Templates) says "Removing the add-on that contains a template will not remove the template from your Confluence site if you have already imported it. You will need to remove the template manually via the administration console or space administration screen."

However, I can't find any documentation that describes how to manually remove the template from the admin console or space admin screen. The closest action I can see is just to disable the blueprint.

Just wanted to clarify that this is the only documentation I've seen that gives any "hints" about how to remove a template/blueprint.
