Hello,
I am trying to create nested numbered lists, but Confluence refuses to cooperate.
This is what I am trying to accomplish... a very basic function:
1. list
2. list
3. list
1. nested numbered list
2. nested numbered list
4. parent list continues...
But Confluence insists on doing the following:
3. list
a. nested list with undesired letters, which breaks our documentation standard! Grrrr
b. why can't I change to numbers?
I'm using Confluence Cloud so I think that further diminishes my options.
UPDATE
I answered my own question.
I was writing this while experimenting and discovered the I can employ the Fancy Bullets macro with "decimal" option.
I can't control the indentation amount but I this is Confluence Cloud... be happy with the small wins. LOL
Congrats on Answering your Question!
There are a lot of previous questions on this topic here on the Community. Hope they were helpful to you.
I am curious. Is "nest numbered lists" the best search keywords? Because searching the forum, results in two pages and none of them provide the answer.
So, the forum wasn't helpful in this situation. :(
Thanks for responding. :)
