I have two completely separate Confluence instances. In Confluence Instance 1 I am trying to create a template structure only 5 pages (not the whole space). I would like to transfer these 5 pages into Confluence Instance 2, but keep all formatting.

I have tried this with word, but it import everything into a single Wiki Markup macro. I need my sections and instructional text as well.

Cronus,

There are two ways you can do this if I understand your question correctly.

Option 1
Open both confluence instances in different browser windows.  Create the pages that you want in instance 2 and copy the content from instance one in edit mode to instance 2.

Option 2
Exporting from one instance to another can be done by following the Confluence Documentation.  If you do a custom export you can select pages and just export that.  You can then use this documentation to restore the pages.

Somethings to consider.  If the instances differ in releases sometimes the restore will not work as expected.  If there is major release differences then there will be issues.
