How do I make Confluence Search/CQL search phrases that are linked to external links?

We are looking to host a collection of PDFs on an external site (think: Google Drive), but we are wanting users to be able to search for the specific file name on Confluence, see it in the suggested search items and, when clicked, be directed to the external link. How can we make this work? CQL?

Hi Brody,

i think we have the similar problem. On confluence server you could try the raytion app (e.g. Search Connector for Microsoft Search | Atlassian Marketplace).

If we had confluence server, we would use them.
