How do I paste as text automatically in Confluence?

Whenever I paste URLs and email addresses in Confluence, they are automatically hyperlinked (even if I defang them).  I want to paste them as text automatically without any hyperlinks.  How do I do that?

I ask because the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V doesn't work so every time I have to painfully click on the link (which seems like a dangerous practice given that I work in cybersecurity and share malicious URLs in Confluence) to remove the hyperlink.

If you paste them into a code block macro that should work.

Thanks for the quick response.  That's a lot more clicks, though, and it doesn't paste the URL inline with the other text.

Any other ideas for how I can set Confluence to paste as text without hyperlinking URLs?
