Added a label to an overview page. Usually on a page there would be labels in the bottom right and we could remove it, but on the overview there isnt such an option. When I used the /label listing thing I can see the labels but I cant see them anywhere else. let alone remove them.
How do I see what labels are attached to an overview page and how can I get rid of ones I dont want?
Thanks
Hi Andy,
Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to have you join us.
Thank you for bringing this to us. I ran some tests around this, and as you discovered, it's only possible to add labels to an Overview page. Even then, you can only do it in edit mode. It's also missing a few useful features, such as the ability to see which labels a page currently has and to remove them.
I learned we have an existing request for this, and I've since updated it with my investigation.
As a workaround, you'll need to set a different page to be the space home page, remove the labels, and set it back again. You will need to be a space admin for this. I'm sorry because I know this is not ideal.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
Take care,
Shannon
Thank you for looking into this for me. Thanks for providing a work around! Hopefully there will be a patch sometime as there are occasions where I am not an admin and need to do this.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your reply. If you happen to be a site admin, you can recover space admin access, but otherwise, not.
I hope now that I've included more details, and since we're discussing it here, it will start to pick up visibility.
Thanks again, and take care!
Shannon
