How do I remove old referrers to websites from the database?

I have pages that have multiple versions, and the url's they are pointing to have been updated to something different. When I query the database, in the body of the current version it is still showing the old url's as a referrer. When I look at the page plain text or the source, doesn't matter, it doesn't refer to the old url. How do I get the database to show me the accurate information?
