How do I see design mode when editing a page? Confluence 4.3.3
I believe it was Markup mode. It is the mode where you can see the code that formats the text. Pound sign etc

Is there a substitute if the above blog is true?
Ken,
That blog outlines out thought process from moving away from wiki markup and towards xhtml storage.
You are still able to insert wikimarkup from the Insert menu. You will no longer be presented with a wikimarkup view for editing your Confuence pages.
If you need a finer grain of control over how your Confluene pages are rendering you can look at the source editor plugin.
This plugin will allow you to edit the html of a page directly getting the most amount of control over your pages possible.
