How do we stop automatic page tree updates after adding new pages (Confluence Cloud)?

Hello,

The order of pages in the page tree changes after every update of Scroll Viewport and after adding new pages to the space in Confluence Cloud used for documentation. Can we avoid this behavior somehow? Does it happen because the page tree reflects the latest changes and displays pages with the latest changes on top / at the bottom? If so, can we disable this behavior and move pages in the hierarchy only manually when we need it and not automatically?

Another layer to this problem is that we haven't been able to figure out a pattern Confluence follows when changing the page order.

I have already asked K15t for the Scroll Viewport part, but there seems to be no solution.
