How do you parse page information (title, last modified) to macros

Trying to parse the title and last modified timestamp from the page information to a macro as parameters. 

The Macro runs a SQL procedure that updates an audit table and returns status information to page that updates buttons 

The  problem is that I cannot find out how to get these two rather simple pieces of information inside the macro.

Any idea?
