How to add links in drag and drop like files

Greetings,

Does anyone know if there's an insert tool that allows for live adding of URLs similar to the drag and drop method for adding documents? I have a section on my page dedicated to sharing news articles, and I'd like to be able to edit the contents without having to go in and edit the entire page. Ideally I'd like to link an RSS feed, but there's no option for that.

@Brian Brehart while the functionality you are looking for is not available in Confluence, I did search and find a previous question that gives great advice on how to create an RSS feed in Confluence.
