I’d like to create isolated spaces in Confluence for a few of our company's partners. They need access to some specific documentation but should not have access to all of Confluence. New users are by default added to the “Confluence-Users” group, and this group has at least read access to all of Confluence. My intention was to NOT add our partners to this default group, but to add them only to the spaces created for them. However, a coworker told me that she tried this in the past for our partners and found that if users are not added to the default group, they will not be able to access any part of Confluence, not even the space in Confluence that they are given access to. Is this something you can shed light on?
