Hello all,
We are using Confluence Cloud for about a month now and it seems like we decided to switch to Confluence Server.
And we found this article to follow: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/migrate-from-confluence-cloud-to-server-724765578.html
And we got the backup from Confluence Cloud and tried to upload it to Confluence Server on "Backup and Restore". And our problem starts here. we cannot manage to enter as "recovery_admin". I think it is not clear how to edit "setenv.bat" file and re-login as recovery admin.
This is a serious issue as we are a bit confused how to back up and restore Confluence Server in the future if that is really this hard and confusing.
You only need the recovery admin password once, so that you can get system admin on Confluence. Once you have it, you should make people admins, with their accounts, so you don't need it any more. Then you should set up a backup strategy (recommendation - at the very least, back up the attachments and take a standard database dump regularly
Where are you struggling with editing setenv.bat ?
Thanks for your fast answer
-Datlassian.recovery.password=<your-password>
i dont know where and how to write this command on .bat file and we also encounter some problems when we run start-confluence batch file, some errors on Env variables with having space between "Program" and "Files"
