I have already created a customized global template and can see this option when creating a new page in Confluence. However, I wanted this template to be the default when someone from our organization tries to create a new page instead of selecting this template from the option. So when someone creates a new page there's already table of content in the right side and content by label. File attachment widget already in the bottom as default.
Thank you.
If you mean replace the default blank page when pressing the "Create" button, then I don't believe this is possible. You can see a suggestion to change this on CONFCLOUD-45607
For a Space, there is an alternative:
This way, you can direct users to the Space's Overview page or similar and ask they create pages from the create button on it - which will utilise a template!

Hi Stephen, thanks for your reply. I need the default blank page replaced with the customized template that I have made, so this will be automatically used if there's someone from our organization creates a new confluence page. They're not tech savvy so I wanted this to be straight forward for them when they create a new page or child pages in Confluence.
Thank you.

Not possible at this stage I'm afraid which is why I offered an alternative :)
I would vote/follow CONFCLOUD-45607 if this functionality is of interest to you!

Hi @Ste Wright
Can I specify a specific subpage for the templates to be created in? Rather than a Space. I want the templatized pages to be created in a subsection within the space.

Hi @Jamie Eliya
You'd need the Create from Template button to be on the relevant Parent page, to have the pages which are created placed elsewhere in the page tree.
