Hello Moshchenskyi,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about your link editing ask. I would like to understand a bit more of what you're wanting to do and ultimately accomplish to ensure we're providing the best solution with the least amount of effort.

Here's what I'm understanding you're wanting to do;

Only copy the text at the end of a page link so this can be used on a different page to do a quick in browser search.

My Question, Are you copying these links outside of Confluence into another tool and why would you do this vs using the Confluence search?

Looking forward to your response.

Hello, Stephen.

Thanks for response.

Here is situation: i got a lot of tasks with 10+ or even 30+ links.
They looks like this:
site.com/middle-part/last-part

I need to copy only middle-part/last-part or even last-part

And then paste copied part to a list of links to make my jobb with it.

Now its impossible to copy ONLY middle-part/last-part WITHOUT going to the page (click on link) and then copy it from search bar.
Or you can right click on those Jira's block and copy whole link (which i dont need) and then paste whole link ib the list AND delete first part of link (site.com).

So, my here is my conclusion and request - add an option to account settings "How to show links - only link as it is or show it as this strange block with favicon and title.

Hello,

While this isn't an option within the product to modify how URLs are displayed, you can most certainly use the REST API to query a space and all of it's child page. You can get started with this using https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/api-group-space/#api-api-space-spacekey-content-get.

Another alternative would be to use REGEX matching within google sheets or a similar application to parse our the part of a URL you're wanting. We don't have any documentation around this as it's very edge case, but a google search for REGEXMATCH should help on this journey.

I don't know who did this "feature" for Jira, who made a decision about make this "feature", but this is the worst "feature" ever made in Frontend developing.

- totaly broken
- slow loading (i have 300 Mbps, whole page are loaded, but this link still loading AND you can even right click it because it just dont allow to)
- wasting time while working with amout of links
- not user friendly
- can't be changed in settings.

Just awfull.

And can someone on this planet tell the benefit of this block? To see favicon of site or title of page?
But it dont wok anyway, because link to figma (or avocode) just show you a word FIGMA...
