How to create formula in confluence tab?
Unfortunately this is not possible with Confluence right now. However, we have an open feature request which you can view here: CONF-4632
I recommend voting on this ticket and commenting with details on your use case. Customer feedback is one of the things that helps our developers decide what to work on next. I'd also suggest watching the issue so that you'll receive emails when the developers work on or comment on the issue, or when other users comment regarding workarounds.

As a workaround it might be a possibility to embed a Google Doc spreadsheet that allows you to do calculations.

I need to create in Confluence's tab a cell where I will summarize integers from another cells/pages.
How I can do it please?
Also, is there anyway to make progress bar or something similar?
I am expecting to have some thing like in Excel or so.
Thanks.
Eugene

Hi Eugene,
If you are looking to write math formula in Confluence pages, you can use add-ons which provide that feature.
We recently released an add-on which allows rendering LaTeX as well as AsciiMath and MathML expressions in Confluence.
Please try out LaTeX Math for Confluence available at Atlassian Marketplace.
Let us know if you face any issues.
Thanks,
Parva

Hello!
For any calculations in Confluence, including any manipulations with table data, you may use CelesteCS Math for Confluence. There are versions for both Confluence Server and Confluence Cloud.
Assume you have a table with three columns and three rows on your page – from A1 till C3, where row 1 is the header row. The sum calculation formula for rows 2 and 3 will be simple:
SUM(Table1.A2:C3)
There is a plenty of other functions in the macro, so you may perform any calculations using formulas in EXCEL style.
Thanks!

A formula? As in LaTeX?
