I have created forms with Confiforms in Confluence. The main focus of form is to report the current situation in Jira project. It is kind of snapshots about the current situation. I have created a process whenever you have to report Confluence creates the new report (page) in Confluence. Some of the fields and tables include data from Jira and some of them are filled in confluence. All old reports are also in confluence as a page.
Problem is that all old reports are also updated when opened. So the picture of old situation is not correct. I want to keep the old reports as a snapshot of that old situation.
How can I freeze the confluence page/ Confiforms form?
Hi @Mika Hotti
Welcome to Atlassian community
I assume you use Jira field type in ConfiForms to show data from your Jira issue, right?
This way the data is always realtime, meaning that your Jira is queried every time you access ConfiForms form
What you can do is you can use [entry.field_name] notations (instead of ConfiForms Field macros) in the template that you use to create your "snapshot pages"
This way the data will be taken from ConfiForms Form and placed in the resulting page as static values, not connected to ConfiForms or Jira

Thank you!
Solution is so simple that I couldn't even think about it.
