Hi - I'm having an issue displaying PowerPoint presentations in Confluence via Smart Links. Below are the steps I've taken:

  1. Add a Smart Link page
  2. Click "Microsoft 365"

  3. Select relevant file
  4. View Smart Link page
  5. Click "Log In"

  6. Authentication pop-up shows I'm already logged in - goes too quick to screenshot

I have also tried generating the PowerPoint link directly from OneDrive. I have also checked the permissions for the doc, and note that they are for all users of my organisation - I am the author.

Hi @Ben Anthonisz ,

There might be caching issues or potentially logging/linking problem. I've just tested this, and it seems to work as expected (as long as you have permissions to view the file/PPT).

I'd suggest trying the following:

  1. Try opening a different browser or incognito mode to see if this will work there
  2. You can try navigating to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/apps and revoking OneDrive access/permissions for your account (it should be listed under "Atlassian third party account access")
This should remove all permissions and once you try to sign in again, it should guide you through the process of authorization, which may result in a successful connection.

Alternatively, you can clear the cache and cookies in your browser and try again.

Cheers,
Tobi

Praise be - it seems to be a browser issue. I was trying to go through this on MacOS Safari with no joy. Flicked over to Chrome and it was fine.

Would be great if Atlassian confirmed this in their docs. Either way, happy to see it working.

Thanks so much for your help!
