Hi All,
We are hosting a confluence page which consists of a table which is updated by team members regularly.
Sometimes, some of the folks might miss to update the status in table which might create a misleading information.
Is there a way to incorporate last modified date in the row of table?
Thanks
Sam
You can add a timestamp to your page with the Handy Timestamp macro (one of the Handy Macros app). You can select multiple formats, add the current date and time, and nobody can change the macro after adding.
I understand that the requirement is to show when the certain row in the table has been changed, and not when the page has been changed.
Page change timestamp is visible on the page itself, not to mention that it is possible to get it via the one liner user macro
Or does the handy macro stores the timestamp somewhere in the page's metadata and we could have multiple timestamps (with different values) on the same page?

I see now, @Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ is right. Handy Timestamps needs to be added manually (anywhere within a page) so it can cause the same issues with those users who miss updating the status.

OK, this is exactly what I thought - human factor still remains. That is why I have gently offered our app to consider, where these things could be easily automated.
But good to know about this "handy" macro - seems useful for many use cases.

Hi,
I’m Anastasia from Stiltsoft.
I’ve decided to gently follow up on this question, as our team has released a new feature that might bring value to the table regarding the use cases.
Namely, we have released the Handy Status Timestamp macro, part of Handy Macros for Confluence app. It allows you to add the date and time of the last status update to a Confluence page and instantly see and automatically update status meta information in combination with Handy Status.
You can use Handy Status Timestamp for status management, workflow control, and automation so that it can be a good fit for your particular use case.
Have a lovely Friday!
Kind regards,
Anastasia

Not that I want to promote the app we are developing, but our ConfiForms app looks like a very good fit here, especially for storing the structured and consistent data inside Confluence.
You can store / manage the data as you need and show it in various formats, including the tables.
And, of course, things like last updated or created timestamps will be handled for you by the app.
