How to display user avatar in the "created/last updated" page section

Vinicius Strasser July 8, 2020

Hello,

In some Confluence spaces, I have seen the contributors avatars displayed in the created/last updated area of the pages.

Unfortunately, I could not find a way to display such information. In mine Confluence Server, the avatars are not shown.

Please check the example picture attached.
The red area is not displayed in mine Confluence Server.

@Vinicius Strasser

There are two standard macros in the server version, Profiles and Profile Picture, which display similar things. Your ad appears to be created by an additional app or a user macro.
The profile pictures of the creator and user of the last change are displayed

Just have a look at the page where your illustration comes from, then you can see how it is done.

Unfortunately, the Profile Picture it is not possible to be added to the same area where the "created/updated" information is displayed.

I've made a quick test in Confluence Cloud, and it seems that this feature is available for the cloud but not the server.

This page shows the avatars (hosted by atlassian.net)

This page does not show the avatars (server, I assume)

The final question now is if there is a way to show these avatars in the server.

I don't find any such function in my cloud free version.

This is how it appears for me in Confluence Cloud - also the free version

For this result, I just created a Blank Page in my testing space.
No settings were required.

Maybe it is possible to implement this in the Confluence Server configuring the layouts. There is an option to change the page layout under Settings / Look and Feel / Layouts. It seems I can change how the page is intended to be displayed in the "Page Layout".
But still have no idea how to change this layout to display avatars....

No, my free cloud version does not have this configuration point. :(

You have probably activated an additional design or layout plugin
