Please find the below queries.
1) How to do app integration test for targeted version of the Confluence?
2) JIRA application compatibility with targeted wiki version
Note: Current Version is 7.4.1 and Targeted version is 7.13.2
@Dabin Daniel Sundaram I echo what @Sebastian Krzewiński has recommended. We actually have a test and stage environment. This allows us to have a sandbox that is more open and people can play around in (TEST Instance) and an instance that we keep synced with Production (STAGE Instance) that we test upgrades, app updates, etc in to make sure everything works well before doing it in production. You can get developer keys for non-production environments that will allow you to run this type of setup. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-get-a-confluence-developer-license-152044449.html
IMHO you need to have test environment which will be copy of your production env. Then you will be able to test everything before it goes on production.
Second thing that you need to have test plan what you want to test. I always tests application's core functionalities and important things used in VIP projects. Everything else I test with key users which have full knowledge about their processes.

Seba
