We recently migrated from Confluence server to cloud. I have thousands of blog posts where I would keep a daily record of my work. I typically create an entry at the beginning of the day and update the entry throughout the day as I work. Since the migration, I cannot edit new blog posts once they're initially created. I can edit the old ones that were created on the server version. Also, the new blog posts look totally different: centered, etc.
Can someone please offer some insight?
Hello there!
The described behaviour sounds like a Space Permissions issue. With this in mind, we could start by checking the space permissions that are currently set:
- Go to the Space where you usually post the Blog Posts
- Click Space Settings in the left hand side menu bar
- Select the Permissions tab
- Check if your user or group which you are part of has Permissions to Add and Delete blog posts
Confluence Cloud and Server have different approaches to application design and content editing. You may want to take a look here:

I still have some questions that came up while reading your question:
- Are the already existing imported blogposts also shown with the centered layout?
- Are all affected blogposts posted into the same Confluence Space?
- Are other users also facing this issue?
