How to embed a file generated by a REST call in a confluence page?

Hi,

 

I'd like to add "dynamic" content to a confluence page, namely html (could be doc or pdf or xls, whatever is acceptable) content generated by a REST call (that runs outside confluence). 

Is this possible ?
