How to expand the children of a clicked page on the sidebar tree?

When someone clicks a page in the tree in my sidebar, i'd like that page to expand (in the tree) and show that pages children. So far I can't figure that out. I know how to do pagetree:startDepth=2, but nothing else i've found seems to offer that function.

Appanrelty this is the default functionality of the page tree... if you don't have startDepth on, which I did. Got it sorted out.

Would be nice if we could have both.
