I'm very new to this. I've been following the writing an admin screen tutorial for confluence. When I go to manage add ons to see if the app loaded it says "This app couldn't be loaded. It has one or more errors that prevent it from being enabled." My question is how do I find the error in the code?
Confluence as server or cloud version?

You can find the error code in the log file atlassian-confluence.log.
This is located in the data directory under ../logs

Hi repi,
Thank you for your input. However, I am unable to find this. I did find log4j files and in one of them it seems to give directions on how to read error logs. However it has not worked for me.
Thanks,
Diana Bianco

The path in which the confluence is installed is different for you.
Download this app and you can view the log from confluence.
