Good afternoon, and thank you for your question. I understand you need to get the top contributors of Confluence using API.
No single API endpoint can return that information, but the Contributors macro in Confluence already displays this information. I assume you may be trying to replicate the macro functionality. Can you let us know what you're trying to do exactly?
I recommend turning to the Atlassian Developer Community for this question; they have more knowledge surrounding development requests.
