Hello,
I'd like to hide or disable the "Forgot Password" link (Confluence DataCenter 9.2.2). The solution proposed in https://support.atlassian.com/confluence/kb/how-to-hide-the-forgot-password-link-in-confluence/ doesn't work for Confluence 9.1 and above.
Is there any other way to do it?
The only "solution" I'm aware of is to configure no connexion to any SMTP server, making it impossible to send a "Reset password" email... at the cost of disabling any and all notifications.
Thanks for your help!
Hi @Pierre-Henri Legourd ,
with the option to manipulate the page being off the table, there's sadly only one option I can think off (other than trying to manipulate the page through Script Runner fragments or something similar):
It might not be what you're looking for, but along with other changes, enabling the Security setting "External User management" also removes the password reset function.
You can find the documentation on it here to determine whether this is something that's suitable for you: https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf92/disabling-the-built-in-user-management-1477576929.html
Greetings
Philipp
Thanks! Sadly this option is not compatible with our configuration of user management. The search goes on...
Kind regards,
Pierre-Henri
