I tried to import a 5.6GB space into Confluence Datacenter 7.4.14. I placed the zip file into the <confluence-home>/restore folder and selected it for import. However, an error message is displayed saying 'Error unzipping file (This may be due to a large zip file): XXXXXX.xml.zip (Permission denied).

The error "Permission denied" suggests that the user which is trying to unzip the file doesn't have access to unzip under the specified directory ? Have you already verified the permissions part ?
