We have ongoing product renaming situations, so we want searches for tag ProductA to automatically return results for tag ProductB.
Short of that, is there a way to bulk apply and remove labels?

there's a plugin which promises to do, what you want:

It is not for free, available for self-hosted Confluence only and I didn't test it yet. So I don't know, if it is worth the price.
