I have an existing Confluence page that I would like to mark as a space template so it would show up as one when someone's starting to create a new page in that space.
I can see that I can edit or delete existing templates and create a new template from scratch, but is there a way to mark an already existing page as a template? Otherwise I would need to create a new template from scratch based on the existing page and this would be very time consuming.
Open up two browser windows,
I was just wondering if there is a less manual and less hacky way to do this. But good to realize this while I only have one page created I guess. :)
Thanks!

That's how we did it, just make a page skeleton until it looks like you want and then cut-n-paste it into a template, fix all the macros and then save.
