How to modify confluence search content type to “page”

Hello, everyone. Is it possible to modify confluence search content type to “page”. For Confluence default search strategy, it looks for content in all spaces, pages, mail and so on… But, it searching extremely slow for result. Please help, thanks a lot.

Thanks, @Robby Holtmann_IntraFind Software AG_ . But the tools you recommended was much more complicated for my opinion. like this, we need to maintain other search engine or something else, not just a confluence add-ons.

Thanks Michael for your feedback. That is correct. One of the great advantages of this solution is the linguistic analysis in different languages and that is much more than just a full text search. This leads to an excellent search experience with the best results. This would not be possible with a plugin alone. A separate server is therefore required. By the way, Elastic Search is part of our product and is very stable with minimal maintenance. This is also confirmed by our customers via Gartner Insights. Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

I think you are referring to this issue - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-5338 i.e. make  quick search a site configurable option which unfortunately can't be done.

Can you also try to use Livesearch Macro to add search box in confluence page and restrict to the desired labels / given space?

Thanks, @Suvradip Paul  yes, what I am talking about is the jira issue you linked to.

What a pity about this improvement suggestion was not implemented over 15 years......

But, this search strategy always the problem for big confluence instance, there are any other way to speed up the search for result or configure the default filter parameters? after all, confluence had search engine and quick search way, it is not prefer method to add macro in page for result searching.
